Free of notifiable disease; negative or managed for endemic risks per lab protocol.
Calm handling for repeated procedures. Stressed donors raise injury and failure risk.
Recovery time between flushes, vet oversight, and hard stops when health or response declines. Non-negotiable.

Natural calving limits roughly one calf per year. ET can multiply offspring per year when donor response, recipients, and lab quality align — results are programme-specific, not guaranteed.
Frozen enables banking and transport. Conception can be lower than fresh in some systems; grade, freeze method, and thaw technique decide the gap.
Many farms partner with ET service labs. What you must own is donor/recipient management, IDs, and welfare standards.
